Man that's nice. DA 500's are probably hard on the hand though. Hopefully there will be a range report to follow.

I found that the disturbance in the grip provided by the stroking the DA trigger on a 500 S&W X Frame with full house loads was not a good thing... This will be more of the same... Good thing we haven't bobbed the hammer!  |

Haven't weighed it... With a .510 bore and 6.5 inch barrel I'd expect it to be close to the weight of a 7.5 inch 6 shot SRH...

No scales anywhere to be seen but took out a 7.5 SRH and this 500L last night... Closed my eyes and repeatedly picked each of them up with the same hand.... The 480 always felt heavier... The 44 and 454 SRH will be heavier than the 480... I'll try to get them to some scales soon...

Does make a fine looking little gun.... I bet that 510 bore really makes a dent in the weight too! What do you shoot in it? I am preparing to try some Trail Boss loads in my 500Ls...
