Just picked up this S&W M616 no dash recently.
It's a super nice little K frame wearing Bowen sight and Spegel walnut grips!
Don't think it's ever been fired...
That first photo makes the cylinder look like it's finished differently. It's not. Both have a "factory" S&W stainless type finish.
Can't wait to shoot it.

My description was sort of misleading/joking around.
I figured you'd see the Bowen Classic Arms on the barrel and figure it out.
S&W never made a M616. They made a blue Model 16-4 as Dick eluded to. But if they would have it would have been a M616.
This is a custom gun built by Bowen. S&W madel 66 no dash base gun, rebored M617 barrel, custom Bowen long k frame cylinder and Bowen rough country rear and white line front sights.
