My only 22 Hornet, a Contender carbine with MGM barrel. It shoots factory 35 gr V-max into about 0.75 MOA if I pay attention. Now that I look at the picture, the 4x mini Burris looks a little awkward on it. But...it's a handy little package and easy to shoot. A beautiful and useful setup...

We use a Lyman 225438 right now with no complaints, but am really looking forward to the Hornet mould in the group buy. That little 37gr HPGC should be a real gopher buster, this is the time for all you hornet guys to get signed up and get this little gem moving. I Thank you and bushog for your sign-ups. We need quite a few more for it to happen. Come on folks!

Mine was my CZ 527 American . Loved that gun my load was a 45 hrs Nodler jacket sp they discontinued years ago in their infinite wisdom go just have the bt line. A little over max h110 load with a spm primer. Accurate and deadly hit 50-60 pound yotes like lightning. Once hit a red fox between the eyes one eye blew up the other was hanging out bullet went through end exited the right rear flank. I had to sell the gun last year but still save a few boxes of those bullets, one if the few that the OAL cleared the mag unlike BTs or vmax. The CZs barrels are super accurate, the fully adjustable trigger is a fantastic I didn’t even use the single set trigger, no need. Topping it off was the Mauser claw extractor.

The CZ Rifles have very few, if any, peers. Currently, the only 527 I own is chambered in 6.5 Grendel.

They are built to old world standards. Quality reminds me of the Pre-64 Winchester M70s. Extremely accurate and top craftsmanship in every respect.
I have multiple Rimfires, 550s and the one 527. All are impeccable quality guns.

You guys......
I started looking and they made the 527s in 221 furball too.
Anybody ever own one of these?
I've got a pile of furball brass for my 20 Vartarg so it wouldn't really be like loading for another caliber...right?

I saw one in 221 Fireball with Maple wood. Will go to my death bed regretting not buying it.
I did buy the Remington 700 Classic in 221 Fireball whatever year they made it. It's a 300 yard varmint rifle.
If you can find one, but it...

I like the look of that custom barrel and a thumbhole is always a comfort to shoulder. This little puppy is kinda like a cheeky little 'rifle'

Mine is a CZ 527. Super accurate.
Also have a Savage 322, fun to shoot, a good truck gun.
My next 22 Hornet will be a 221 Fireball on a Model Seven action.

I have a CZ 527 in 22 Hornet and it's one of the most accurate center rifles I've owned. Like mentioned the modifying the magazine to take longer cartridges is simple and easy. I still believe the Hornet has a place in the scheme of things.

My favorite 22 Hornet is an open sighted Ruger #3. Light, handy and a lot of fun to shoot in the Hornet.

Had a Browning Micro Medallion in 22 Hornet. Had a old Redfield 6-24 scope on it. Beautiful gun and scary accurate. Deadly on woodchucks
