Old burley Texan with a size 16 wedding ring finger and 400 grainers Instigated it! Haha I will explain what i do in the next post! 50 Bowen special. Will 2 pounds and 6.4 oz work for ya?

With the old steel in the 80s i tigged up the back and would machine a groove so i could have hammer spring clearance, Yet still have a decent plattin for the grip panel to rest on! So naturally i would incorporate that into all of my designs. Even the Keith which has a sweeping front strap has a small one so if you so choose you can make a gorrilla paw grip.

Hey How about Berylium Copper. (bEcU) 50 Action Express. This one is another crazy one i love to shoot. Screwed up the program if memory serves and didnt get much room behind the knuckle. Got a Hell of a story behind those cape buffalo grip panels though! Pennies were a gift from my grandfather in the 60s. The year he was born! Very special. Her Name is PENNEY LOUDANDBOOMER!

Ft. Worth, more or less. Roots in Weatherford and I live in Arlington.
I was thinking it would be great to handle some of your wares to decide which way to go with things. No idea how the heavy brass or light aluminum changes the balance, etc.
I could stand to run by Harton's shop and get some Lupe Tortilla in the not too distant future so a trip down to Houston always appeals!

Would be my pleasure sir. im heading to denver in about three weeks to blow up my Hotrod again. Haha, and go real fast! Hopefully we wont set Todd on fire! Be passing right by you! Stan Holt (The Owner) is a good friend, He is a great racer to and we eat the hell outa some lupe tortillas. Haha I will hit Back tommorow morn! Been building these things a long time and just decided it was time to get in the middle of it and turn these things out for everyone we can! There are a lot of details involved but nothing good old Red blooded Americans cant handle and enjoy! Aluminum and Brass fit up real nice! I make them very close so there is a minimum of cleanup however HOWEVER! Any one who has ever fit a frame on a BH knows they are all individual. I can guarranty you though, IT WILL BOLT RIGHT ON DEAD NUTS! ( no Qualite misgivings) The 5 holes will be perfectly aligned. Its the width and heighth that varies, on what is still the finest platform available to a single action lover for personallization! I make so many different versions that i need to make a list! I made my first Bisley in Brass in 1988 on an old Mazak VMC25 at Baker oil tools on third shift(Cnc Maintenace tech at the time) If any one has a crazy idea, Throw it at me. I hope i havent tried everything but i have covered some serious ground On Ruger Sa Grip Frames. Gentlemen there are a lot of good machines out there. The gentleman with the Hass is a prime example of a very capable cnc! However HOWEVER! Haha. its a lot like paint and body work on a car. You spend 4 months repairing the panels, adding your body filler. all the priming and blocking it flat!Drying Time, Shrink Time, Blocking it flat again and again and again. And it only Takes twenty minutes to paint it. Lol Its the days or the months or the years and all the cutting time , scrap after scrap after scrap, Not to mention the six figures ive spent over the past 30 years on master cam and Gibbs Thats makes the part. Beleive me when i say, And certainly dont get me wrong, But these have a lot of processes in them! However it is not cast. They are C360, ANd 6061 billet. They are very tough! I have made some out of c464 but have found no advantage. I have some big big boomers with an aluminum GF and have tortured the hell out of them and never had a failure! They are easy to antique, Polish and anodise. I even spent a month mixing the perfect batch of purply blue black to match the rugers! Time for some dinner on my end now, But i am looking forward to talking with all who are interested!

I've had the pleasure of speaking with Ronnie over the past few weeks. His gripframes are truly engineered from the ground up. Not just on profile, but how they mate to the frame. He has variations of the #5. He has variations of the Bisley. He does brass & aluminum and as you can tell from the photos, final finish looks impeccable. He's put an inordinate amount of time and thought into producing them. I'll be trying a few in the coming weeks and will post back. Oh, and if you're into drag racing, his knowledge and stories are captivating. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Well... this is interesting... are you willing to make up some to sell??? Looks like there is plenty interest, and I have no interest in reinventing the wheel Have you got a brass one that looks pretty close to the Ruger Bisley??? That you could sell me??? How much, and what do you expect for lead times???
