Hey Ronnie, Just a weird thought since you are starting with basically a blank sheet and get to do it your way. What do you think about the grip locating pin being moved to the middle of the bottom of the frame, where the wood (or whatever) is thickest. So many grip panel failures happen out on the point as the material is so thin there. Any pictures of that Lightning grip yet? Hey NeedMoStuff! (Mid Pin Option)Whataya think Buddy?

Something else i have been working on. Baby Bisleys! Haha. Couple of examples Here, Standard Bisley Mid Pin Grip Frame on the bottom left, Bisley Junior on a standard Bh Frame. (Scaled down version for smaller Hands) And a Bisley Y (youth) on a single six. Tried it on several 6, 7, 9, Year old boys And an 8 and 11 Year old girl this weekend. All fit much better. The Bis Y uses a standard Bh trigger and has a semi bisley style trigger guard. The youth uses a standard bisley trigger guard yet it is a little smaller than the Daddy bisley so it doesn't look so out of place! My wife loved the Junior! Whata Ya think Fellas? Have i lost my Mind or am i just having to much Fun!

Yo Amigo, The mid-pin ,that just flat NAILS it. Leaves open the option for materials that get brittle when worked thin. The Junior Bisley will look wayyyyyy better on the single six sized frames and should find many homes. Got that fixed,,,,,, carry on.

I suspect the Bisley Jr will be right up my alley. However, perhaps some reverse psychology is in order. Maybe you could call it the “Bisley Extra Mannly”, to boost my ego.😃

We Can do it man. Ill make one that size with some spikes on it.LOL. I like it for some of the non CANNON type calibers because it fits good and it actually looks more proportional to me! My hand doesn't fit anything well, thats why i made so many sasquatch specials for myself . But im used to my fingers hanging down under most stuff anyway so why not make it look right. I have always had an interest in the youth stuff to keep the youth interested because i have three children, all grown now so now that the grand kids are coming i get to do it again! Checkout the XRY. (Youth) model XR. before finishing on the single six. it is a an XR3 less 32%.

Compared to an XR3 it is the same length, its just moved forward about a half of an inch to shorten the distance to the trigger for smaller paws, however im already mocking me up a 327 federal, with a 4 5/8s Barrel for the fact that is an age old problem for me. ITS COOL AND I DONT HAVE ONE YET! LOL

A couple of your youth bisley grip frames paired with a 5.5" single six and single seven in .22 / .327 and worked over by Clements would make an awesome pairing for a young shooter or almost anyone...

Thanks!
All I can say is that it's nearly complete but not open. We both have other work we are juggling and we want to ensure we are setup for success and that everything looks right. That's why it has been so long. A lot goes into being prepared, but we are VERY close to taking orders.

Ronnie called me today. He is a very interesting guy. Enjoyed talking with him very much, and looking forward to talking to him again in the future. Maybe next time he’ll let me talk. Lol. I’m super excited to get one of his grip frames.

Just need a steady supply of Bisley hammers and triggers! In carbon steel, so they can be CCH’d or blued!
