I really hope that the market supports this guy. It sounds like he is going all in.

Thanks for keeping the board up to date on Ronnie's progress, potatojudge. And thanks Ronnie for all your effort to make these parts work!

Let's get this back on the front page. One of my Maxis needs a brass bisley grip frame.

I'd be in for at least a couple aluminum New Model XR3's as well as several Bisleys.

I'd be in for a couple aluminum Bisley's if the price isn't too high.

I don't want to obligate Ronnie to a timeline, but "very soon" is appropriate. He's got the stabilizing process down for grip material since it cuts nicer on his CNC setup, which he's upgraded to speed up production. The fit of milled micarta is shown. Note the perfect fit like you'd get from a decked grip frame. Also, that's a scrap frame as you can tell by the wonky front strap so don't let that put you off. Tolerances will be tight, parts will be right. Customer service, as I estimate from our chats, will be excellent. Ronnie is finalizing the drawings on the last grip components so you'll basically be able to tell him what trigger guard, grip frame shape, trigger width, hammer style, OM/NM, and material you'd like. He'll pull in each component and make it just how you want. The business is set up, financing done, payment systems in place, website is up (but lacking his full range of options still, both as drop down options and pictorial representations), phone line/answering service pending, etc, etc. Big stuff done, small stuff remaining, production kinks shouldn't be a concern given Ronnie's extensive experience in manufacturing. Y'all, the hard part is going to be picking from so many options. As I told him, I'm seeing the guns in my safe as new projects and hoping Clements can supply the OM components he's known for.

Depending on cost, I'm definitely interested in a brass Bisley for my Max & possibly a brass SBH/Dragoon for a TBD NMBH project.

So would it be possible to get scaled down exterior grip dimensions for petite ladies / youth who play in SASS and such?
