Nice looking guns. This is a 5 screw 28 that came back today as a poor mans pre-29.

Here's mine with original diamond grips and a Kramer holster. It shoots pretty good when I don't jerk the trigger. The nice thing about the 28s and 27s for that matter, is that they beller like all .357s but they don't kick like the lighter guns. Very easy to shoot.

I finally got mine, yesterday, real cheap, and with an interesting stamp on the top of the frame (of course you can't see it wit hthe rear sight on, but if you take it off it's plain as day, mine had a broken blade I had to change), stamped "in memory of Skeeter Skelton, 1997", real small letters, and part of the 7 is in the front screw hole, but it's there, and for only $400, but it's minty, and with a set of Roper Target stocks to boot. I wonder how many of these guns have been set up like that and wit ha special Skeeter Skelton "in memory of" stamp, I know it wasn't a factory job
