Just got a call from Quality Cartridge, and they are starting to make 22 CCM cases ( they had someone making them from 22 Hornet cases before, but that guy retired ) but now they are going to start making them, themselves, so they'll be available again... MWM, while your looking check out the Lyman 225438, I’ve been using one for a few years for the Hornet. Hopefully this all sparks some interest in the MiHec 227640 Hornet in the group buy section, that will be a dandy.

just a quick search, Midway lists that one as discontinued... I'll look around a few other places
I think I'm on that group buy for both plain based & gas check... like to see a few more get on board... should be a great bullet for all the little 22 centerfires

Didn’t know it was discontinued, bummer. If I ever find a second one, I will send it off to Erik Ohlen for a hollow point conversion. Looks to me like he does real nice work, and has a good web site at Hollow Point Bullet Mold Service.
