I got more done on the 22lr cases to 25 caliber bullets project.
I needed to get a process together for production, as the initial example seems to have some promise.
Spent the morning in my personal machine shop working out some issues with this swaging up process. Among other things, I ended up making a special punch for taking the seated cores/rimfire jackets and bumping them up in the 6mm core seating die.
I have a good small quantity to take forward now and work out whatever problems come up with establishing a good process for getting to 25 caliber and pointing the bullets.
Progress is good.

I'm assembling my offensive platform against the ground squirrels.
Along with the 22lr Anschutz, the 22 K-Hornet, the 25-20, and the 32-20, I've brought out the 17 Remington
I now have a couple of 17 Remington loads to chronograph, 20gr VMax and the teensy 15.5gr NTX
Heh heh heh...

100 rounds of .25 ACP, fifty using 58gr hard-cast flat point lead, and another fifty using 50gr FMC. Both bullet-types were loaded over 1.2gr. of Red Dot with a CCI500 small pistol primer.
It's fun to plink with the mouse-guns now and again!

This was a while back, so I can't remember but expect it was 10-15 yards.
