Does anyone know who homerm14 is? They've been giving me some heat on the 357 auction. Name doesn't ring a bell, though it's been awhile since I've won anything on GB.

He hasn’t bought anything on GB since 2013.

David, sells under ‘Woodlawn Boys’ on GB, is a good guy. He has sold several S&W revolvers for me. (I have one in this auction.) Most sold above what I could have received selling outright. A couple didn’t. A couple went way higher. His commission (I won’t publish that...you’ll have to talk to him) comes out of the sale price. He has an extremely good reputation on the S&W forum. He answers email inquiries promptly.
You wont see purchases from David on GB. He has so many connections in the S&W world I doubt he ever looks at a sale ad.
David shines when you have a seriously rare gun to sell (lots of collectors watch his auctions) or if you are parting with several and want to avoid the listing/shipping/answering questions/potential non-payer issues.
That Bowen/FA 357 is really something. It caught my attention pretty quick, but I already spent too much with Bowen/Rowen these past couple months.

I've used David in the past for some S&Ws and felt, same as you, that he earns his commission. I imagine the difference in what I could sell them for and what he got at least covered the commission. Never have seen much in the way of single actions in his auctions, but so far I'm pretty happy with these are. Of course, wont know for sure until tomorrow.

Little shocked this one went for as low as it did. Unfired, USFA parts, Turnbul carbona blue and case, Persinger ivory and Turnbull engraving. Win some lose some www.gunbroker.com/item/787040641Thought the 475 Linebaugh went for a good price, The FA went way low and did just OK on the FA/Bowen. don't know it Id go this route for an individual single actions again but selling a group helped even things out a bit. I would use them for collectible smiths without hesitation.
