I traded off my 4.25" SP-101 and got a 3" fixed sights version when they re-released them. I want a 4" GP-100 but I haven't committed yet

INSTEAD OF THE 4 INCH GP-100 YOU SHUD CONSIDER THE BLUE HALF LUG 7x 327 RUGER GP-100

I have a 5 1/2" S7 and like that barrel length. Don't think you can wrong in any of your poll choices.

I've got the 5½" Bisley but haven't had time to follow up on working up loads. I'm still bummed at the oversize throats. The barrel slugged great. If I could get some of my irons out of the fire, I might find that it shoots OK.

I have found the 32 H&R loaded with Fermin loads is very enjoyable in such I get with in 120 fps of .327s without that cracking sound. I have also found that soft HP from GT bullets an a dose of unique out of a 5.5 inch bbl gives me 1100 fps for small game and is a hoot to shoot as well just plinking. I have a GP 100 in .327 and all it gets is 32 H&R mag loads. My 2 cents Wait a second here..... Fermin loads? Please.... go on....

It would appear the Bisley is the favorite. That works for me since the Bisley grip is my favorite and I shoot it better.

Whether first place in a poll or last, buy what YOU want. Thanks! Definitely will go with my choice. I plan on using it for hunting some and I have come to love the Bisley grip I had even considered putting one on the Single Six I picked up but since it has some nice bone grips and I sent it to Zane to work on it will stay with the standard grips. Everything else will be Bisley grips. They will also all have the excellent Fermin Garza front sights!

I like both grip frames, but for heavier recoil and longer barreled nose heavy guns, I prefer the bisley. My 6 1/2” .32hrm bisley is plenty light and I sometimes shoot it with my pinky under the grip. It doesn’t seem to matter to me or for accuracy. I don’t shoot anything hot from it.

My vote is for the stainless steel single seven, with a 4 5/8" barrel. That is what I have, and mine chronographs the cheap 100 grain Federal at exactly the advertised velocity of 1,500 FPS. That is 500 ft lbs of energy, same as the 110 grain 357 magnum. In my opinion, that is moving out for that little bullet. Shooting at jugs of water, I get the full, classic mushroom. Make sure you have, and use ear protection, the muzzle blast is quite exceptional.
Mobjack Fan of the 327 Federal.
