Received my first couple pairs of grips from Zane last week. Very pleased with the service and the grips. Both sets are made of mesquite burl. The pics, as usual, really don't capture the depth of the color and figure of the wood On my .32-20 Bowen and .44sp Clements old model medium frame Blackhawks.

Your grips are outstanding.
I have never had a pair of Zane’s grips that I was disappointed in the fit. His work gets better and better.

The blind screw application is fitting on such pretty wood. Don’t sell ‘em to a lefty....

They are stunning!!! Absolutely beautiful. I am a lefty. Would I want the screw on the other grip? I don’t think it would bother me ether way. That blind screw is icing on the cake!

I have a pair of Zane’s grips from early on and they are fancy mesquite as well. Loved them then and they still look great on my flat top .44 Special. Those are outstanding.

I had the same problem when Cary Chapman was making grips, kept buying more guns so I could buy more of his grips.

Bushog... those are awesome... I'm at 6-7 sets myself... & hoping I'm on the list again ( he said in about a month ) for some lighter colored wood fitted to a Buckeye Blackhawk, that has an extra wide bottom on the plow handle, & the factory grips don't fit particularly well... thinking spalted maple, or maybe holley... but that Mesquite burl looks quite nice on those blued guns...

To see these pics makes me smile. To hear the comments makes me chuckle. I recall several years ago,,, when Zane wasn't as well known,, and how he was SUPER kind in donating some 1911 grip panels to my NRA events & my Autism Charity matches. His work was great, and coveted by the lucky folks who got those grips. I later on got me a set of fancy wood grips for a special gun myself. I have watched his work improve, his selections of materials & types of grips expand,, and when I see posts like this,, well, it just makes me smile.
Oh, and his comment; "Looks like i got y'all addicted lol." is just like sixshot's grandkids & family out fishing,,, GOTCHA!
