Opinions good or bad?
They're cheap enough to just try out but I figured I could get some idea here first......
Thanks!

I've used them since 1973. They work for me.

Still use them on K frame RBs and SBs with Magnas and they have served me well since I chanced onto them in 1973. As an earlier poster said" they work well on J frames." I've used them on Colt D frames also. They work good on N Frames also. Even used one on a 5.5 Redhawk square butt with wood grips. They really shined there.

Burnston please tell about that gun sir, it's got an odd hole for a really old looking gun. One of those S&W Heritage models I believe..... That one looks pretty good now that it's seen some wear. When they're new that CC on the frame isn't appealing to me...... Let's see some more with those T-grips..... Anybody have a pic of a half lug 6" barrelled K-frame with magnas and a T-grip on it? Not that I'm picky or anything.....

Burnston please tell about that gun sir, it's got an odd hole for a really old looking gun. This is my daily ranch work pistol; a model 21-4 .44 special N frame. I am a bit to young to have had a chance at the original triple-locks and those Heritage models bring about the same price tag as the originals so this one was the most economical for me, given the use and loads I had planned for it. It’s old worn-in appearance comes from daily carry and shooting; not so much age. For a newer Smith, it is a wonderful pistol upon which I can bring no complaints. I had Mr. Patrick Grashorn work up the stag stocks for me, and he did a fantastic job. It is not a “purist” pistol, but it is a more than satisfactory workhorse.

I buy every used one I can find but some times they are for something I don't have. That's how I came into this idea. They can fit very secure if a little larger than needed. enough that they fit over the frame at the top. Then you give them a little squeeze. If you look close you can see where they were fit back into the grip also. Being aluminum the finger grooves are easy to open up for a better fit. Very secure. I have not tried it but a shooting amigo used to grease up his gun and then "bed" his Tylers to the frame with Acraglas. They were also very firm.

I am also a fan of elk stag grips, and have several pair on various guns.

Do they scratch up the frame under the T-Grip?
