Id bet those are Persinger grips. That is a fine, fine gun.
That seller sure does like to write out elaborate stories on his guns without actually giving any pertinent details that would matter to a guy who would part with the money this gun is worth. Again buy the steak not the sizzle, however this gun has all sorts for steak to feast on. Wonder what it will end up selling for?
This is a Mid sized framed gun right?

That's one of the finest guns I've ever seen & the caliber is perfect in my view.

Although some of his descriptions are a little off, this seller starts at a penny with no reserve. You have to admire a guy who accepts what the market is willing to pay.

I agree,,,, and was thinking about trying to find out more information but was reluctant since bushog expressed misinformation about another gun. The gun has everything I would ever want and then some. It would be a very nice addition. I am wondering if it will go all the way to 3500? we will see.... looks like a Mid frame, and I think that would be a dandy. I have a Mid Frame that I have been thinking of using for a 41 build.

If it doesn’t top $3500, someone will be stealing it.

I told Tim (princeout) $3800-4200 when it started and I think that would be a very good deal.

I don't see the problem shooting that gun right handed

I don't see the problem shooting that gun right handed Usually the raised portion of the grip (Steer's head) is positioned to fill the palm of the shooting hand.

I understand that and how these are positioned. I just don't see it as a big problem.

Well, I suppose I am not destined to have a custom, for now. I tried to purchase the custom flat top, but my pockets are not deep enough. :-( I suppose I should be satisfied with my Colts, Freedom Arms, and stock-for-now Rugers.
Mobjack One day I will have a full custom.

Mobjack, Tell folks what interests you. For the bid you made, you can certainly own a really nice custom! Keep your eyes open, let people know what interests you and you will eventually get a PM from someone with something you'll like.
It's happened to me enough times...

Thanks Tim, I have a quite eclectic "collection" of firearms, that cover the whole gun gamut of extremes. I don't presently have a three screw Blackhawk in the mix, and would like to have something like a Quinn Special in 44. I also, thought a Flat Top magnum converted to .480 would be sweet. Maybe a send a three screw Single Six off to become a sweet 327, or even a 41 Special. I suppose I should ease into the customs, by sending my Single Seven off to fix all of the factory flaws, along with having nice grips fitted to it. I like the stainless guns, but *love* the blued ones. If Freedom Arms only offered their guns in blued steel. :-)

Mobjack One day I will have a full custom. What do I know?....I'm not sure..... But, after being in your shoes quite a few Winters ago I would make some suggestions. I sooooo agree with starting off small. Don't do what I did and buy the flashiest custom you can get your hands on first thing. Start slowly... I "accumulated" for quite a while, owning some really nice, hard to find, rare guns. The majority of them don't live here any more for one reason or another except that I might have made wiser decisions when I laid my gold down. Nothing wrong with the guns at all, just with my being new at the custom SA thing and just having to have "that one". I picked up a Clements .44 Special over on the RF a couple weeks ago that in my humble opinion would have been perfect for you. The Quin Special is basically the same gun I bought with case coloring so once again I think you're on the right track. It isn't a flashy gun but for trying to decide what you really like/want in a custom it is a great place to start. I have no idea where you really are on this journey or what your tastes are. I just know I probably would have been a lot more satisfied and saved a ton of $$ if I had started at the beginning. Good Luck!
