Picked up one of David's fine commander spurs for am OM...... Had an old .41 laying in the safe and decided to see what it looked like. I kinda' like it. It feels better than it looks too! Supposed to be the same height as a SBH hammer and I believe it is. This one could go get a .357 Max cylinder, a steel grip frame, new front sight, reblue with some bling and it would be sweeeet! Maybe even add a lanyard ring to complete the package.......  |

I keep looking trying to decide how I feel, but the low spur and quality of his hammers make it an upgrade regardless of the aesthetics. Throw some CCH on there and I'm in.

Looks good. I have been wanting to see one on a gun for awhile.I have flat top 44 going to andy horvath that's getting S&W barrel long ejector housing and 357 max cyl and cch. Been thinking about that style hammer for it.

No sir the first one I saw was on the FA on Bowen’s site then Davidbsjowed me his different iterations when he made the previous batch of custom old model hammers.

While I was messing around I found a grip frame that's been chrome plated. Bolted it on too. Looks kinda' kewl...... |

If you cut away the bottom of the ring, and blended it into the body of the hammer, you would have a different sort of Bisley hammer. I’m polite, so I won’t say much more......  |

I believe the theory is you put a lanyard loop through the hammer and around your neck. Adjust length so that when you draw the revolver and extend to arms length it cocks itself. Just funin.
