Definitely a black tie event kinda revolver. Beautiful quality blue finish (looks like black deep water) and the ivory needs no comment by me.
I do love a revolver with lots of bells and whistles, but the simplicity of that thing blows me away. I know it has all of the goodies on it too, but they fade into the background with that finish. With who built it, I know the inside is as well finished as the outside.
Thanks for sharing!

You know with the Photobucket debacle the Handgun Blueprint thread got decimated. Shoot, I can't even find it anymore! It would be nice if we could resurrect it and as folks find new photo host sites, replace those long gone photobucket shots with new shots or even the same shots as original just from a different site. Which section was the blueprint thread in if anyone remembers?

Those Stroh front sights are pure artwork. I wish I had a handful. Beautiful gun Robb.

Although, it's hard to find somebody to install them. I guess Jack would but everybody else does their own front sights and won't fool with them...... And...they were never exactly cheap.

They shouldn’t be cheap...they’re damn near perfect. A classic example of form following function.

Very classy and amazing work that's near impossible to reproduce. Love the gun!

Is there a black tie piece of leather to go with this masterpiece?

Not a black one but there is a nice piece of Barranti leather in the drawer.

This one reminds me of another deep black polished gun with ivory grips with a bisley hammer. Does it you too 2 Dogs?

That dark rich bluing is incredible. I high polished the cylinders out of my 45 Colt/ACP Flattop and sent them off to Bobby Tyler. His bluing formula is on another level. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to put that sixgun in a holster again.

Andy Horvath put the SS Stroh sight I had on a gun, just for reference. I appreciate the "It ain't mine but I'll do it well" mentality. That gun is beautiful.
