I have used LabRadar since they put them out and have been extremely pleased.

The competition electronics chronograph is a good one. Buy the debris shield...... Bullet lube from a 500 S and W lever gun broke the LCD screen. Thanks for the suggestion, I will get the shield too

Zues, please tell a little more about the LabRadar unit. I've been really considering one of these.

...The LabRadar is the one, I believe the higher price will be long forgotten after a few years of pleasurable use. I don't know what the Oehler is worth these days, but I bet there similarly priced. Wow. Saw a LabRadar in use on a public range last year and what a nice unit! No positioning for the sun, just align it with your target and shoot. The shooters who were using it shot over 100 rounds that afternoon from a couple of .22 centerfires and I don't think it missed a single reading. If I got to the range more, I'd have one.

I also have a LabRadar and am extremely happy with it. No wires, lighting doesn’t matter and sets up in a matter of minutes. Only negative for me is it doesn’t read much over 3800 fps so it doesn’t work with my 17 Remington, 204 Ruger, etc
