What are your gun / hunting related hopes for 2018?
I'd like to go deer hunting some this year, maybe in a blind, maybe taking my 5 year old out if we have a nice warm blind or maybe next fall just to see them up closer in different setting (see constantly near roads).
Finish out a few handguns & practice more (especially left handed).

Would like to get some coyote this winter . And a wolf that came into a call would be AWESOME . I would really like to get a nice bull moose in the fall of 2018.

My plans are hopeful for more hunting in 2018 than Ive ever done of all different kinds of critters with meat in the freezer to show for it. I also plan to start a trap line next fall..... something Ive always wanted to do was be a trapper and let life be an excuse as to why I never done it.....my biggest challege will be putting what Ive read to real world 😉

For the sake of my wallet, I hope I can go a full year without buying another gun I keep trying to talk myself into this. I probably spent an hour just last night trying to steel my reserve. But I really want a 4" Redhawk. and a 480 or 475L. And if Ruger came out with a 4" 480 Redhawk, well... And I fear another BFR is looming.

More shooting, but that requires more time, and thats were my program falls apart. Finish a couple of projects that are lagging behind, and if that goes well, start some more. More shooting for sure..

Begin reloading and shooting my 32 Mag and 327 with my own cast Miha bullets from the recent run of molds. Probably will explore powder coating them some too. Shooting, loading, and casting until I really know these two revolvers. I have much to learn.
And waiting for me Bearcat to graduate to a .32!

Get out shooting more. Have a few rifles that I want to shoot through some old bullets and get some new ones loaded up. Really need to practice the handgun hunting perspective of things and get more comfortable with it, suffered another miss this year. Don't think the wallet is going to be able to support another gun, but saw Springfield armory released a micro 1911 called the "911" and that has me intrigued because I love their 1911's, one of which is almost never off my side so I wouldn't mind this one in the pocket.

I'd like to see a good friend of mine, and this forum, spend a little more time on his own shooting aspirations and projects, (not to mention any names 2 Dogs) and a little less time cleaning up the messes of guys like me who are still in the early learning phases. I'd also like to find a way to express gratitude to him and all you other veteran shooters who carry guys like us when we create more problems for ourselves than solutions. Looking forwards to creating more solutions than problems this year.
