Just in time, I'll be anxiously awaiting the invoice. I got the Dillon caliber conversion kit Mon. for the new 327 cartridge, 500 rounds of brass last Fri. and a couple boxes of 100 grn. XTP's. Made sure my Redding 32 S&W 32 Mag dies would work with Federal cartridge, which I was pretty sure it would, putting together a box of cartridges Tuesday so I had something ready for the new GP-100 6" Stainless HB that is on it's way and should be here tomorrow or Friday. I need this and the 140 grn to do any real testing. I don't plan on shooting jacketed ammo, I never do. But this should handle my smaller varmint and small game hunting with medium loads for anything from ground squirrel and other varmint to Fox squirrel on the ground to rabbits grouse and chuker.
I was happy to see these 2 molds off for machining, they are the only 32 molds I have in my casting collection, and should serve well in both sizes to cover everything I wanted this revolver for, this new cartridge being added to the cave is falling right in line making it a smooth blend to my collection.

You certainly won’t be disappointed with the XTP as I have found it to be blisteringly accurate across the board in all sixgun calibers. Combine that with the ease of shooting a Smallbore like a 32 or 327 and you literally hold a lazer in your hands. About it’s only faults are no 115-125 or 135 grain versions. Alas...

Oh, and you can really “lean” on that XTP too!

I'm leanen as hard as I can with H-110 right now, can only get 13.5 grn in it. I will be trying some 2400 or blue dot when it gets here, I'm pretty sure one of them will let me violate the manuals. One thing is for sure, there is enough meat on the GP to push this thing a little. Maybe some HS6.
Just what are the velocity powders and the accuracy powders others have been running. The Sledgehammer is the one I will be working with to lean on for large varmints. This 100 grn I will probably cast solid and run moderately fer rabbit hunting and the likes. Always fun when you start testing and working with a new caliber in strong for caliber six gun!

Don't sell that 100 grainer short! I killed lots of trapped hogs and other critters with both the XTP and the Rainer plated HP with my 32 Magnum. Using commercial lead 100 grain bullets that were mostly round nose but with a little flat on the nose Jackrabbits went lights out.
