What would probably work best and I have done this for David before is when I get back I will open a thread and we can all post how many we want of each time and I will pass the number on to David. That gives him a number so he can start planning but he doesn’t need a lust to keep track of in the mean time. Like a OM hammer version of a Miha mold group buy.

Best of luck on the hunt!

Ok, here is a update. I have contacted both Dave Clements and Robb Barnes and gotten the go ahead with THIS plan in order to streamline this process and make it as painless as possible for us and both safeguard Dave's time. What I am going to do is go into The Lounge on this forum and start up a group buy, much like we do on the Miha molds. What will be different here however is that when Clements gets ready to actually make these hammers, a deposit will be due. This might be as little as 100 bucks or as much as half so be prepared. Speaking for myself, I will most likely just pay for mine at that time. It is easier for me, I just grit my teeth and do it, I try not to look at my credit card statement, and I have my parts when I dream on some project and I can't actually start on it. So, I will go through this thread and add onto the new thread the folks that have already spoken up. Once I get the new thread going, I will post a like here so it can be found. Feel free to post it where ever you like. I will also add my gmail account so if they are not a member of singleactions.com they e mail me and I will add them to the list. Hopefully I didn't forget anything but if I did, point it out and I will edit it in.
There are some special run Clements hammers available for immediate purchase. These are all for standard frames. There are approximately 4 "lightweight" style and 4 "Commander" spur style hammers available. The Commander spur style hammers have the spur located where a Ruger Super Blackhawk hammer spur would be.

Doesn't Power Custom make OM bisley hammers? Is there something wrong with them? Yes, he does. Nobody said there was anything wrong with them and I don't want to give anyone that impression at all. However, be advised the ones Clements sells come far better finished. I did the finish work on one of the others and it was easy to see why the price was lower. By the time I got it where it had a nice finish on it, the price would be considerably different. Not to mention the amount of time that finish work adds to the completion of your project. Additionally, the Clements hammer has the plunger and related parts as well.

Thanks for the info Fermin. I'll be going with David for the reasons mentioned, to help support a great gunsmith, and to keep the ball rolling on the group buy. I've got an OM 357 that'll be getting one and I'd like to get the parts together for an OM No 5 so that's at least two hammers.

What model Ruger do these fit? I might just because and work on a project around the hammer. Clements can make one for any Ruger Old Model Single Action to include the Old Army I believe. Tell me what you are looking for, it might be easier for me to answer as some of the hammers will require one of his triggers as well. "Just Because" is an excellent reason if you ask me! I'm ready when you are. Here is the link: singleactions.proboards.com/thread/21187/clements-custom-guns-hammer-group

Although I'd rather NOT get into an OM set given the lack of used model supply in my area in hopes an OM 3 screw donor comes up, at which point i'm immediately in debt to a build, but if NM guns aren't an option I might consider jumping on the band wagon just because and hoarding it for IF I do a build, or break even on the inventory for those in need.

Super difficult to respond to that. A properly tuned New Model is just incredible. One that has been built to tight spec's is almost hard to believe. The old models take you back to where you just can't go anymore without closing your eyes. If you gotta have one, you might as well have it built to take you places like that.
