Any time an article uses the phrase "and the mainstream media are attempting to cover it up", you know you're wasting time reading it.

On another forum there is much discussion about the Bump Fire stocks and the possible regulation or banning of them. I for one have no use for them, never did and certainly don't want one now. I hate to see things get banned because it usually has little to no effect on anything. If that was all it took to keep the anti's happy for a while, fine take them, who cares? I see it now as a pretty much foregone conclusion that they will either be regulated or banned soon. Of course the other argument is the slippery slope one that we all know, and don't give an inch or they will take a mile etc. Probably. But if they couldn't pass a gun ban after Sandy Hook, its hard to see how they do it now.

This is starting to mimic the NFA 34 in more ways than one.

There has been mention of the shooter being prescribed Valium within the last month or so. Valium & Xanex have both been connected to a number of psychotic episodes.

Many if not most of the high profile shootings were by those on such drugs. It is a common link.

Does anyone here question whether or not the dead man they found in the room actually did the shooting?

Shoe string with loops tied on the ends was also ruled an NFA item, so nothing surprises me anymore.

In a 2004 letter from Sterling Nixon, chief of BATFE's Firearms Technology Branch, Nixon determined that a shoelace was a machine gun. Yes a shoelace.
The letter said:
" In 1996, FTB examined and classified a 14 inch long shoestring with a loop at each end. The string was attached to the cocking handle of a semi-automatic rifle and was looped around the trigger and attached to the shooter's finger. The device caused the weapon to fire repeatedly until finger pressure was released from the string. Because this item was designed and intended to convert a semi-automatic rifle into a machine gun, FTB determined that is was a machinegun as defined in 26 U.S.C. 5845 (b)"

Crazy!
If it even works as described, how does that differ from a bump-stock, or the silly clothes pin style springs that mounted to a trigger guard to accomplish the same thing?
Sounds like a good way to inflict a rope burn, or tourniquet, on your finger.
