I have a Cimarron MP410 coming soon, will be my first Uberti. Have not yet acquired a Colt, but it's on "the list". I have to dig deeper before I take the Colt plunge so I make an educated choice when I spend big $ on the Colt name.
Same issue with 1885 Winchester and Sharps replicas... so many choices, but originals are on the list.

I hear a lot of knocking of the newer Colts but my experience is different. This SAA is what I've heard some describe as a "4th Generation". It has the removable cylinder pin bushing, a black powder frame and a bullseye ejector. It's as nice a Colt as I've seen, and when I shot it the first time it not only shot to point of aim but put 5 rounds into about a 3" group at 20 yards off a rest. It certainly cost more than an Italian copy but there's nothing in the world wrong with this gun and how it shoots. And the hand fitted Grashorn elk stocks don't look too bad either (smile). Dave

If you have always dreamed of having a Colt, only a Colt will fill that void. I'll have to agree with jayhawker. Nothing will scratch that Colts itch like a Colt.
