Finally got a chance to put this mold to use. Here is the bullet as cast, coated and GC'd, recovered from the range and a 41 292 grain for reference. For those that may be interested I tried the following loads. All loads use Starline brass, CCI 350 primers and the Mihec which weighed 515 grains from my alloy sized in a Lee .510 push thru sizer. Barrel length was 4 3/4's. All average velocities(avg.) and standard deviations(SD's) are for 10 shots 8 grains Trailboss avg-655 fps SD-7 9 grains Trailboss avg-695 fps SD-8.5 9.5 grains Titegroup avg-824 fps SD-11.7 10.5 grains Unique avg-795 fps SD-7.9 11.5 grains Unique avg- 840 fps SD-8.9 24 grains 5744 avg-958 fps SD-46 23.5 grains IMR 4227 avg-916 SD-21.5 26.5 grains IMR 4227 avg-1075 SD-11.1 None of the loads showed any signs of pressure. The 26.5 grains of IMR 4227 had issues with bullet jump. I have Hornady dies and the expander cannot be removed. May look for an RCBS expander die where I can pull the expander and turn it down for more bullet tension. Accuracy of all loads was more than acceptable with the primary limitation being me.

Thanks for that info, I've been using the HP version over Unique too and never chrono'd them. I've found HS-6 works well too not that it's a secret in the Linebaugh.

Nice!
Princeout loaned me his plane base version of that mold last year. 530gr from my alloy. 23gr LilGun gets 1125fps in my 5.5" Gallagher 500L. 19es for 5 rnds.

Tried 15 grains of HS-6 and 10 shots averaged 944 fps with an extreme spread of 18 and a standard deviation of 5.9.

This might help, besides Lazarus needs a walk every now and again.

I agree with the 2400 load, extremely accurate! I also used this bullet (HP PB version, powder coated) weighed right at 501 grains, in my 50AK lever gun. 18 grains of Trailboss, very pleasant to shoot.
