I need to get a real camera out when I have time but I found the other two hiding out. Strange how things happen sometimes but two of the triplets are Brunettes with one being blonde. Crazy genetics!!

Variety is the spice of life. Don't let the red head find out.

Glenn old buddy, you knocked it out of the park with this one! That is an amazing looking gun with those Ivory micarta stocks. Until I saw your gun I would have thought the black micarta would be the best choice but you nailed it. I wouldn't sleep nights if I had to be held to one gun but if.....that ever was the case I'd probably steal yours! 2 loads, 8 grs. of Unique & & the 230 gr. Keith & the 250 gr. WFN & 17 grs. of 2400. Dick Look forward to trying both in it. Maybe I'll bring it your way soon This gun is exactly how I wanted it ordered years ago. But everyone I bought over the years had black stocks. So last year I had a set of these made for my 6" Oct 500 and then ordered this one as I had planned for years. Not sure why I always wanted an 83 in 41 with the long tube but I'm glad I finally put what order in. It's not one that you see pop up for sale on the used market very often especially in this configuration so you just have to bite the bullet and give FA a call

Dumb question here...... does anyone know how Freedom Arms affixes their front sights on the barrels?

Trust me on that one. I think to replace them, with an octagon is close to $900 or so. The sling studs are about 100 ish or so and then the trigger will be about another 100. Depending on the age of the gun, while they have it, I'd have them replace the firing pin to the new style if it's the old one.
