I've looked at it and asked about it. It looks like Alan's work but no provenance. A blue gripframe would help it but it appears to be a bargain.

Definitely looks like Alan's front sight.

I would bet Alan did the work and the grip frame was done at a later date by someone else.

How hard would it be to get a Bisley grip frame on that and keep the SBH hammer?

The Super hammer would leave a gap in the Bisley gripframe - that hump that has to be taken off to put a Bisley hammer in a plow handle gripframe would normally fill the gap.
The hump could be built up by a competent welder/metal miracle worker like Alan and others.

Ya the bear may look all hairy and bushy but I hear he's a teddy at heart😀 Have the hump welded and you'll have the only OM brass Bisley with a SBH hammer that'll probably ever exist. I've looked but can't find a Bisley with SBH hammer, though I swear there was one in the blueprint thread or maybe Hondo44 has some? Also a good candidate for a SBH brass grip frame... I'm trying not to hit BIN.

That one lived here for a few years. I got it from old forum member Mark Hargrove as a 7 1/2 OM Super Blackhawk that he had sent to Harton for throats and forcing cone. I sent it back to Alan for front and rear sights, a barrel cutting, custom grip fitting, and blue. It was a nice semi custom 44 mag. Looks like the new owner took the SBH grip frame and grips for another gun.
