So I drank the .411 mag kool-aid. Just got this last night. Found it used for a price I couldn't refuse..... I've never actually even laid my hands on a M83 before. I think I'm going to like it. It's a hefty revolver to be sure but I'm guessing it will shoot well and the weight won't hurt a bit.

Put a RMR sight on it and a great hunting revolver emerges!

The 41 in a FAM83 is exquisite! It will prove to be most accurate. Enjoy your new shooting iron!

That is about the sharpest looking revolver I've ever seen. Like a custom-tailored Armani suit.

That gun isn't going to kick at all, even with the hottest loads. I would bet if you have the test target it's a tiny hole you can cover with a dime, or nearly so.
Scope that one and get a FA 97 in 41 for the RMR.

That extra weight will definitely soak up some recoil. As accurate as both my 5.5" Bisley & my Bisley Hunter are, I'd have to believe the FA83 would be even moreso. .41's a fun round & yer liable to end up with a whole passel of 'em before too long.
