What a great story of a terrific hunt. Congrats! So pausing the end of your video it looks like the Hunter is cross draw in the WyoCombo Holster on your belt? And you had the other gun strong side on the belt? How was that? Dean Ya, the 4" 454 Redhawk is in a Simply Rugged Pancake, strongside on my pants belt where it always is when I'm in the woods. The BisHunter in in the WyoCombo which has it's own strap/belt built in. I slap high around my waist and then put on my day pack with it's belt below the WyoCombo belt. The pack belt goes on top of the SR still allowing my to yank out the RH. I do not use the retention strap when it's on my hip. That's why in the video/pics you see the WyoCombo cross draw. I had just dropped my pack. If I'm spending any time hunting without my daypack I'll carry the WyoCombo across my shoulder bandolier style. It puts the gun under my armpit allowing for binos on my chest but doesn't work with a pack. You must be Diamond D in Wasilla. Welcome to the forums! Great place here. I am not Diamond D from Wasilla but it looks like they make nice holsters also. I worked in Alaska for quite a while and a buddy had one for the long barreled .500 Smith when it first came out. I also like Simply Rugged and have been ordering holsters from him since he was in Wasilla. Dean
