Funny, I was trying to find out the same thing a few minutes ago. All I could find were a few non descript pictures. The best I could tell was the gun is either an XD or some variant thereof. One picture showed the bore end of the pistol and the frame was blue so I'm gonna guess it's some kind of training hybrid. Real gun when needed and convert to training pistol when training. But that's a major guess on my part. Given the content of their promotional videos with fit cross training athletes my theory kinda fits.

"And the crowd goes Mild!"
I was so disappointed. Does Springfield have a Talk to the CEO button?
I expect better from SA. They make the M1A and then they launch an AR like it's going to be the next big thing.

Already have 3 AR's and two M1A's. If I were to buy another of those 2 platforms, it would be the M1A. But I haven't yet looked at the new SA offering.
GB prices running around $800, pretty good looking piece all in all. Already have a good M4 though.

It appears to be a very well done AR though, and Springfield is not a manufacturer to scoff at.

They need to make a shrunk down .223 M1A-M14. A "Mini-14" as it were. Yeah I know... but I mean a genuine shrunk down version. Mags would be the bug-a-boo. AR mags would make it sell, but then it wouldn't be a shrunk down version.
