Shot this group while chronographing loads when I first got my .480 Alaskan. This is the Miha bullet (Dual Crimp, Flat Point & Hollow Point) 385gr HP powder coated that I got from Sixshot. Checking "up close" poi when I first got it. For a short barreled revolver, this one is reasonably easy to shoot and can be loaded very mild, or pretty stout. I like mine. Paul

I still wish they'd make this with a 4 inch barrel...

I've not noticed any cold weather issues with my Trailboss 45 Colt loads... but in the 480 ( which I've not loaded with Trailboss ) that is a boat load of powder

I still wish they'd make this with a 4 inch barrel... I know, one of these days I'll have Bowen make me one. All you need is piles of cash!

Groo here Trailboss is a faster burning powder BUT it is also a bulky powder. Lots of airspace. I find that a near full case and hot primer helps with lower SD and tighter groups,

I'll try some today. Am off work for Anny, and it's raining out. Had a maintenance guy mill flat the end of the seater plug for me last eve, gotta try it out anyway and finish those loads.
