Zeus WOW! What a Great assortment of Fine leather!!! I'm Droolin over here. Pic #2 (down from top) and, #2 & #3 (Up from bottom) Are they the Hank Sloan models? If so how do you like'em? Ive been considering this model for a Bisley FT.... Great thread to help with my decision.... I THINK?

Yes those are all H Sloans. I really like that design. I have a few favorites, the Sloan, the LHC, and the NWC crossdraw. I still love the #5 design as wel but wear the others more often. You should be closer, there are a lot more to look through Hoover, I love that Redhawk!!! And the two rigs in the last pic!

I had a Hank Sloan and really liked it for the woods. It carried very comfortably and kept my L-frame very secure. It just wouldn't conceal very well on my skinny butt. No matter what shirt I tried to cover with it looked like I was carrying a Redhawk!! Some of mine: This one was sold after the gun moved along. Left one is mine.

Nice Zac and Joe. I don't know that I've ever seen a NAA shuck from Mike before.

This is the first North West Hunter rig Mike ever built, serial #1. Its been packed many, many miles in Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Montana & Nevada. One of Mike's cross draw rigs with my 44 flat top & a set of Birds Eye Maple stocks that I made. This is a 10 1/2" North West Hunter, I think #6 with a set of English Walnut I made. I think this is a North West Companion with my OM Shorty, 357 & a set of my Walnut stocks & a strap tie down instead of a thong. A rare 7 1/2" 44 flat top in a strong side Barranti rig with what is becoming a signature bear track, this one also has a thong tie down. My Hank Sloan rig with a set of my Holly stocks. Strong side Barranti rig for a 4" 45 Colt Mountain Gun cut for 45 ACP, this one has a strap. Here's the man himself! This is what happens when an Idaho badger tangles with the Italian Pit Bull. The badger tried to take refuge in the culvert but Hoover blocked the other end so he flushed towards Barranti & his sacred MARY gun, the 4" 44 S&W. A few shots later & the badger was belly up & Mike had his coveted badger. He was packing the MARY gun in one of his Hank Sloan master pieces. Probably the most photographed Barranti holster ever made. This is a cross draw for my single six 32 maggie. Its responsible for about 2 55 gallon barrels of blood. Has the heavy thong, not as heavy as Fermin's, he has a heavier hammer........ wearing a set of my Holly stocks. Dick

When I retired a while ago my good friends Zesus and SChunter had knife maker Gene Ingram put together one of his #7 drop points with my initials on the blade and when Mike Barranti ( who did not know me at the time ) found out he offered to make the sheath. I had no idea about this until I opened the package which was an emotional moment for me. That knife and sheath were carried on my gun belt on my last African hunt which is where the photo was taken...
