For the $$ you can't beat a SA RO. I feed it what ever is on sale. No complaints. I have grown to like the rear sight and very durable.

We like to pull out the innards from the mainspring housing and put standard parts and springs in them. Makes life much easier if you want to run a different mainspring. I'm confused (not hard to do), does the SA not use standard parts? While I'm asking questions, who else besides Ruger doesn't use a firing pin block? Is that what makes a Series 80 a Series 80?

I also added a Smith & Alexander magwell with lanyard ring, thin magwell grips that required short bushings. I suppose it's mostly cosmetic, but I couldn't pass up on a chance to remove the lock, upgrade the grips, and add a lanyard.
