Benellis MP3S in 32 Wadcutter: Bought it along with 150 rounds of Fiocchi 32 Wadcutter target ammo, should be a hoot to shoot. Going to try it out on the 25 yard line tomorrow morning. May have to tool up for 32 wadcutter reloading here soon if I decide to keep it, any suggestions on dies/brass/bullets?

That looks like a ton of fun. Great score I would imagine.

If you load with a Dillon you will need the special powder bar Dillon makes for such things...

Thanks Axe, I'll likely be loading on my Redding T7 for now. What kind of crimp die are you using? I'll likely be using Starline brass, as it's available and relatively inexpensive.

Real nice, a 3 die Lee carbide set in your T7 would be a pretty economical start up. The guys I shoot againts with the Walter GSP, Pardini, Benelli, .32s use about a 98gr wadcutter with no crimp at all. With practicaly none existant rercoil, they claimed bullet fit to be good enough. Further more, they also didnt want to overwork there expensive Lapua brass, and what there doing seems to be working from the targets I see. I'd use starline my self, please post results, these .32 target guns are fascinating pieces.

My personal experience with the 32 wadcutter made me think that they recoil more than I expected them to. While the bullet energy is pretty low the straight blow back action makes the recoil sharper than a comparable locking action semi auto. When I first saw them in bullseye matches they had a reputation of NOT shooting well at 50 yards. Doc Young, one of the few 2670 club members, shot one that would do it all. The tale I was told was he ran a custom 308 barrel. Brass matters too. The Lapua brass is preferred. I play with them just to reduce the wear and tear on my wrist, elbow, and shoulder.

I do not have one, my info is all second hand from the club members that beat me with them regularly, we are indoors at 50 ft.
