Kim what is you standard grind. Flat? That's correct, Sir. I don't have a hollow-grind jig and probably not good enough to free hand it. Maybe some day, but for now I'll stick with the flat-grind.

On a serious note...... I haven't seen any photos of sheaths with your knives.
What are you doing for sheaths?

Barranti makes a lot of them custom to each knife. Typically Kim and Mike work close and have them mailed back and forth if the customer wants a special sheath made. Here's a couple of mine. I have probably a dozen of Kim's knives with another 6-7 on order. They are exceptional knives from as fine a gentleman as you will ever meet!

D2 is a great steel for a working knife IMO. Pretty easy to sharpen and holds an edge well. It's one of my favorites along with 01,A2, and 1095. I'm not much on SS.
Great looking steel and hide in this thread.
