Looks like Jack outdid himself in the accuracy department on that one!!

Too my JRH .45 Colt Bisley (six-shot oversized cylinder) to the range this morning and I finally figuring this one out. All groups were shot off the bench. The first target is with Garrett 365 grain +P loads at 25 yards (five-shot group). The second is that same load at 50 yards (also five-shot). Next up was Garrett's 405 at 25 yards and then Underwood's 300 grain XTP loads at 25 yards. Garrett 365 - 25 yards Garrett 365 - 50 yards Garrett 405 - 25 yards Underwood 300 XTP - 25 yards My JRH revolvers shoot like that, too. I just wish they'd do it when I'm the one pulling the trigger...

Shot some firelap loads through my Rossi 92 45 Colt yesterday. My 4 year old shot for the first time. He sure got a kick out of it. He really liked shooting those powder puff loads. Not sure what he was aiming at, but if it was the dirt he hit it every time!

I've measured out 10 meters on the back porch, set up a pellet trap and did some practice with this little air pistol: Feinwerkbau 90, .177 spring powered with a very smooth electronic trigger. Not many handguns more apt to humble a shooter than an accurate air pistol putting out pellets at 400fps.

Hit the range again this afternoon with Rob Rowen and my JRH .45 Colt Bisley. Shot this group at 25 yards with Garrett's 365 grain .45 Colt +P load, and then shot nothing but offhand. The second target is five shots at 25 yards offhand (note: I didn't re-sight the revolver in for the Underwood 300 grain XTP loads I shot here).

Nothing impressive like Whitworths groups, but tried 2 magazines worth of my powder coated cast at 25 yards offhand. The 43 is hard to shoot offhand, but I suppose it will work for SD at that distance.

Good family time visiting in Trenton Tennessee.

I got my daughter a Buckmark so I can reclaim my Ruger Mark 3. LOL I took it out to the range today and fired a few rounds through it. Standing off hand with Remington Golden bullet, I can ring an 8 inch steel gong most shots. Unless I get stupid with my trigger finger. Ha I think she will like it, I know I do.

A coworker has a Browning like yours with a red dot on it. He has no trouble hitting an 8 inch plate at 100 yards with it. Every shot. Nice pistol Joe.

It was yesterday now, but I sighted in my Ruger 77/357! Put a Weaver 2.75 scope on it and dialed it in. Gun sighted in with 140 XTPs but shows a preference for the heavier bullets. Will work up some Sierra 170s and see how they shoot!.
