Lucas turned six Sunday. I'd bought this old Chipmunk (the good ones) back when Rae was pregnant, one for him and one for Lauren. I threw the GoPro in the safe and told him to spin the big wheel and open it. I was unable to post videos like Lee does but I've attached the link. I invite you to see what happened. for those of you that don't have kids, I hope you do soon. Opens the safe. That's his brother running up in the background hollering "I gotta see, I gotta see!" s1063.photobucket.com/user/squawberryman/media/GOPR0058.mp4.html

May the Force be with him(see T-shirt). The look on the face says it all.

I can relate, sounds like were in about the same stage of family. Mine are 6 and 9, and cant get enogh of it, its heart warming to see your kids enjoy something. Also, nice chipmunk, ours has no checkering, its been a great starter for them.

Start em right.
My daughter has a H&R Topper 30-30 and two handguns (Ruger Mk 3 .22 and a Ruger SP101 in 357). And she can shoot them all well.
Way to go dad.

Hi... Great picture and video. You may have started down a road you may someday regret, though. I started my son shooting at about 8yrs old. By the time he was 12 he was shooting big-bore handguns and hunting squirrels with a 12ga Browning BPS and deer with a Ruger bolt-action .25/06. By the time he was 18, he was referring to my guns as his. The last year or so since he turned 21 he has bought more firearms than I have.
I just wish I could get him to let me shoot my own guns once in a while. I spend more time calling his shots while he sights in a new rifle or scope than I do shooting.
