Over the years I've killed a few with my British fowling piece. Its a very difficult way to hunt longbeards. Would love to kill one with a flintlock rifle but the DNR frowns upon such shenanigans. Tom Black Cantucky

Tom, that's a nice Tom! And a very nice fowler too! Here in GA, the regs state that "any" muzzleloading firearm is legal for turkeys. I've been after the turkeys pretty hard this year but they've been giving me the slip lately. Apparently, turkey hens sound more appealing than I do. I was finally able to call another one into shotgun range this morning and I bagged my second turkey for the year. I've got one tag and two weeks of turkey season left.
