For me the Hunting grip mod is the only thing that worked. The Precision Center micarta looked awesome but beat the hell out of my knuckle. The Huntington mod looks great and more importantly worked great.

My 475 came with the original and a Huntington grip frame and grips. The latter was much better but far too "clubby" for my large hand. I dropped the gun off at Alan Harton's and had him rework Huntington's work for my hand. They came out perfect for me.

Boxhead, I have asked you this numerous times here and on other forums. Was the Huntington grip made for your hand originally? I am guessing it wasn't. I'm curious and I can't seem to get an answer out of you.

Sent an email to Magnum Resaerch:
John,
We have those here and are $46.00 with shipping.
If you would like to complete the order with the production facility you can simply reply back to this email with full name, shipping/mailing address and phone number. Also include payment information. I would need the 16 digit credit card number, expiration date and 3 digit code on back of the card. You can also phone in the order or payment information to 218-746-3459.
Sincerely,

Whitworth _ How do you like them so far. Besides a bit narrow up top what are your first impressions?

So I got a pair of grips. No time until next week to get them on and try them out. What is this T shaped thing they send with them? Must be some kind of installation tool? Called tech support but they are busy.

Called tech support but they are busy. You will need that tool to install the grip. It spreads it open so you can slip it around the grip.

No screws so it's a pressure fit deal

This was seven or so years ago.
