There are some nice photos of some GREAT revolvers, here. Here is my 60-4: I have taken a number of rabbits (both cottontail and snowshoe), sitting and wounded grouse, and other small game. It makes a dandy side gun when bird hunting for those sitting rabbits, etc. I mostly load "full charge wadcutters" using my own cast H&G #251 (double ended w/c's) or H&G #50BB wadcutters. They are pleasant to shoot and give great stopping power for whatever you might run into. FWIW Dale53

i have two of the 3" kit gun types: the first i got long ago in 38 special, amazingly accurate; the next is the same configuration but in 357....very accurate even with snappy loads. i keep it for hiking in montana. then this one showed up in local shop a couple years ago....and nobody bought it, and i resisted temptation,....but still no one grabbed it.....then i picked it up.....mistake, it is amazing in the hand, beautifully balanced... so here it is: has the 5" barrel. they made these starting in 2005 i think. not sure if they still offer it. i still don't know why i needed it, but it would be hard to part with now.

cable; That is a beauty. That should make a FINE trail gun in many of the areas I hunted in. It's hard to beat a .38 Special (or .32 S&W L) for edible small game. Couple those calibers with a "J" frame and target sights and that's about as good as it gets. It's a shame that these fellers are only made in small batches for a short period of time.
I consider myself a lucky man to have been able to pick up and retain a number of VERY useful field tools.
