Nice Ed. Will you use the Dodge or the Mach 1 to tow the Lance RV in the back?

Thought that engine compartment looked familiar too. My 1st car a '66 Coronet,383, Tow package brought big 4 barrel carb, larger battery, alternator and cooling. That gas crunch hit and Dad found he couldn't even trade it in, so I got it. Came with bad brakes and tranny, bald tires,etc..but free. Used it to run some traplines, never got the muskrat smell outta the backseat. Never got any girls into the backseat. Live and learn.

Tinker it’s my understanding that Messer is German for knife, Wehr is more guard or defense, forgive my drift from the topic I’m relearning German after having learned and used it growing up.
So Bauernmesser would be farm knife, and Bauernwehr farm guard or farm defense, which could be more describing its use.
Either way, very cool knife Trapr

For some reason people keep defining it as 'farm knife,' so I went with that, and in retrospect I probably shouldn't have. I do enjoy the fact that Germans use Messer for everything from hunting knives to a type of two-handed sword...

There are several very talented knife makers on this site, and while offering well earned accolades to them, I must say that is one of the neatest sets of knives I've seen!
