Craig, what do you figure those grips run? $3,500 plus freight would be Bowen's current pricing minus the grips.

Depends on how/where they were sourced. Whether they're just off the shelf grips or made by a known gripmaker.

I always consider the cost of having it today or in a year or three. Life is short. I have guns in process but I pay extra sometimes for the joy of today.

Grips from the best of makers can run you $700-$900 depending on whether they're bisley or plow, material and who makes them...

Two of my bisley hunters wear Pat Grashorn Dall Sheep grips and I don't think I paid more than 250-300 for them, fitted.
