RCBS Uniflow. H110/W296 is a fine ball powder that meters very well, should work in just about any powder measure.

I use a Redding 10X for 95% of my handgun loads. It is designed to toss a charge from 1 to 25 grains. It will meter within 1/10th of a grain every toss of the handle. Once you dial it in you can record your setting and be back on target quickly. After buying this I gave the RCBS measure to my son:)

Robb.... drum type measures, with Redding Bench Rest and RCBS Uniflo my favorites, throw fine ball powder such as 296/H110 consistently. These measures probably won more silhouette matches than all others combined----by a wide margin. Bench rest measures such as those by Neil Jones Custom Products, Harrell, Culver use a horizontal bar in the drum and do the job, but cost more. As mentioned, a consistent rhythm is golden when throwing from the measure. Every once in a while I run graphite through the measure to keep it smooth and clean. The whole is for a measure to be precisely fitted. David Bradshaw

Thanks again guys. I picked up a new RCBS Uniflow from a guy who never used it. I cleaned it up and gave it a try this afternoon. I love my LEE reloading equipment. I have been using the same Challenger o-ring press since I was 19 (holy smoke...29 yrs!). The RCBS powder measure is leaps and bounds above the little LEE unit I have been using. Money well spent.

My Uniflow meters H110 well, but not so much Unique!

The Uniflow is great with 2400 and H110. I haven't tried Unique yet.

I'm blessed with an old Lyman No. 55 and haven't found anything better.
