New custom by AC Warren

AC Warren is a local custom knife maker, I met him at a gun show a few years ago and was very impressed with his work. I was not in the market for a custom knife at the time so I got his card and went on my way. In February I was at a Portland gun show and ran into him again. This time he had a Loveless style hunting knife that I that I really liked unfortunately it was already sold so I ordered one on the spot. I picked it up on Friday.

I cant say enough about the quality of his work. Here are a few pictures,





Here is a brief description, Giraff bone scales that have been dyed and stabilized, nickel bolsters, file work and brass pins on the tang and thumb area of blade and brass mosaic pins. He also makes his own sheaths and his leather work is great. I sound like a commercial for him but just a happy customer.

Sure is purty. I like the design work on the frame too, beneath the grips. Giraffe bone...that's a new one!
