I finally found a picture of the 327 Fed Single Six bisley John Gallagher did for me. He shortened the barrel, swapped out the sights, added the #5 base pin and chambered the new long 6 shot cylinder. Topped it off with a pair of Bar-S ivory panels. Sixshot is right, the 32 caliaber is a HOOT to shoot!

Can you take/show some pics of the cylinder and directly from the side so we can see the cylinder fit, please?

Robb, I know you've commented in the past about the "brown finish" on your Clements, octagon barreled, maximum cylinder, 44, bisley.
The above pics appear to have a brownish/bronze finish.
Is this a finish that you've requested or found that different Smiths can intentionally duplicate?
I happen to have picked up a little 4" Clements, Old Model 44 special conversion that indeed does have a brownish/bronze finish to it. I simply figured it was just the luck of the draw that mine came out with those colors.
thank you, c.r.

C.R. it is just an optical dillusion on the 327. It is a blued gun but my son used some different filters or something when he was taking pictures for me.
Axe, sorry I didn't answer about the recessed heads earlier. Yes they are recessed.

Thats a beautiful gun. My wife and I are in the process of getting our house ready to sell next spring and we are moving back out into the country. That looks like the perfect plinker and varmint eradicator. Is it light in weight?

Odis, it weighs aobut the same as a normal single six bisley. A little more for the longer cylinder but a little less for the flutes and the barrel being shortened to 5 1/2". Dick, I'm shooting American Eagle factories so I can get the brass. Once I get some brass to reload I'm going to try the slugs you sent me first.

I have a few 32's and have been looking at a 327 Federal conversion myself.
Is the new cylinder just to allow for the longer cartridge or is it bigger in diameter as well to handle the higher pressure of the 327 Federal vs. the 32 H&R mag?
Or is that the same cylinder just bored out to the 327 length?
