s791.photobucket.com/albums/yy200/45Colt_2009/Some of those movies are big. The 50 BMG wasn't the only rifle I fired. The ones listed below, sorry,no pics/movies. Had the Winnie 94 AE 44mag,an 1884 Springfield TD, NEF Handirifle (also 45-70) Redhawk 44 mag,a Ruger and Uberti 45 Colts. Those 500gr loads from either 45-70, sure can wake ya up !! Nah,didn't use the F.A. M83 this time.Neither the Kricket 22 rifle. Nice day, sore shoulder. Nothing like it.I'll do it again.

Great videos!! I met Ron Barret at a show I was doing in Smyrna, TN. We talked for a good 45 minutes and he invited me out to his range to shoot some of the rifles. I just never could get the time off to get over there. The guy I was working the show for had a store near buy and frequently bought brass and other items from Ron to sell in the store. Boy to I regret that...... thanks Papa

Thanks. ;D This one of 2 rifles he has, aren't Barrets. Made some other company.I looked at the receiver.Ha ! Don't recall. The bullets were up close to 800gr.785...780gr... No wonder he has an F-250 4X4 ! M1 Garand,7.62x54 Russian......and several others. But, this was our very first meet-n-shoot. He's on rugerforums.com. Doug had repeatedly apologized for so many people there. Here, deer season will start in a few weeks.Archery for now. He does want to go again. Maybe then,I can get the rifles and handguns sighted in. You have a good week papa. ;D To add: Added another video. "Shooting the 50 BMG". Watch the towel on the bench in the foreground. That was not less than 3 feet.Probably more like 4 feet from the muzzle blast.

Those 50's are a blast to shoot. My buddy got a new can for his 50 last fall and wanted me to film him shooting it. We are shooting in the back yard of my farm and this was my first attempt at youtube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhihXFZq0e0

Onegoodshot,I thought you did OK for your video. ;D Aspiring vidiographer ! ;D (or however it's spelled ) ;D I think back to that day now, should have made a pic with my puny 45-70-500 next to the 50 BMG. Do have an inert 50 BMG that I removed the powder and primer many years ago.The bullet is forced back into the case. Sorta waitin for another day to go shooting again. You have a good day.
