A firearm as beautiful as could be imagined (which it was) partially built by a man who probably does not have "gunsmith" on his business card, built with a friendship with a master of a trade which begs the question, where do you go from here? Awesome Mr. Garza, simply awesome.

What a lot of you may not know is that Fermin did go to Gunsmithing school at Lakewood, Colorado, my odest son went to the same school. After 2 years when you leave there you are very, very good with files, if not you do it over & over until its perfect. He knows his way around a gunsmiths shop. Between Alan & Fermin that gun is going to be perfect in every way, he won't except anything less & neither will Alan. Now, throw in some Barranti perfection & all it needs is for me & Tank to teach it to shoot!!

Fantastic work Fermin. A unique concept and rendered beautifully. After seeing the finished product with the blueing and (stellar!) grips, my first thought was that the hammer would look great with an ivory plug fitted to the slot. I appreciate you bringing us along on your build, you and Allan both.

Congrats on building a beautiful sixgun, Fermin. I am impressed. Next time I see you I want to shoot it. I love my Bowen 32 Mag/32-20.

Roger, it's a beauty. I have no idea how seeing it has eluded me for all the times we shot together.

Awesome Mr. Garza, simply awesome. That's a really hard question that I had to do some thinking about. I have always wanted to do a 3 leaf rear flattop sixgun but the rear sight would probably have to be fabricated from scratch. And as it is, I barely have time to scratch my, well....

Still, it should be just a bit less weight than a Colt with an octagon barrel. The balance however is perfect. The trigger and action would have to be experienced to believe.....

If it's anything like the action work Alan did on my Montado then it's got to be buttery smooth with a clean, crisp trigger break. I was amazed at the result.
