As excited as I am about Lipseys new 5 shooters, I'm even more excited about this one. Here it is ready for test fire. I thought you guys who were keeping up with this would like a look.

Here is a group shot by Alan Harton. Pretty sure it's 25 yards. 32-20 WCF 135 Miha Sledgehammer GCHP H110 powder CCI 550. I suspect the velocity is close to 1550 fps.

Many many thanks to my friend Mike Barranti for such a beautiful rig. I'm sure once my sixgun is blued and wearing ivory they will compliment each other delightfully. Just a slice of sixgun heaven!
I'm heading up to Houston soon to final polish my new sixgun!! Won't be long now!!

Amazing working art! I'm looking forward to seeing the total package. Thanks for letting us in on the process Mr. Fermin. Congratulations!

Looking great Dogs. Got to admit though that I'm having trouble getting used to that hammer. Sure wish I had your talent.

Did you do lightening cuts on both sides of the frame?

nice looking & unique... she'll look much nicer with a little color... how does it "balance" in your hand with the barrel length & lightening done on the "frames", cylinder & hammer???

Dang it That looks really nice. The total package is awesome. I am wondering about the balance of it. You will not know exactly till you get the new gripps on, But I am wondering, so you have to give us an in depth write up on this. I am quite sure that you would be anyway.

A quick question about the hammer, did you consider using a titanium hammer as apposed to a cut out? I know that the price of titanium is high, and not the most fun to work with. How much increase in spring pressure did it take to function as usual ? ( Or none perhaps)
Oh and good luck with the traffic when you go to Houston.

No more spring pressure was needed with the custom hammer. The hammer is the perfect height and natural feeling. The ribs on the spur give you a no slip purchase on the hammer. Could it be better, possibly, but for this application, a Lightweight Sixgun, it works for me.

Fermin, I like everything about it. Love the frame cuts and the hammer. I'll bet it's going to be a hoot to shoot and laser accurate.

Pretty much sums it up -- works of art both -- always impressed by Mike's work, Harton the same only (obviously) in metal. . Your personal efforts not only contribute to the end product, but will be a source of satisfaction and pride for years to come. . Paul
