You bet. I'm done playing with Bond Derringers.
Now when they come out with an 18" barrel smooth bore full choke 410, I'll be first in line!

I have one in 44 magnum and find it to be very accurate,it is far from easy to shoot but if you can get the proper mind set and stay on task until it goes off it is surprising how good it will shoot. I'm good for about 10 shots and that's enough. Not something that is shot that often.

Last one I saw they wanted $400 just for the barrel.

Shot my .45 ACP Bond yesterday-had a friend's teenaged son with us at the range, and he liked it. Sent from my VS980 4G using proboards What loads do you shoot through yours? My apologies, grizzly, I just noticed your question. I shoot whatever .45 ACP I want to play with, including some pretty warm stuff. I'll leave off the load data, but here's a approximations of the average velocities that I get with it (5950'>sea level, c. 50° F, c. 40% humidity; no keyholes, bottom barrel listed first, then top). 230-gr Velocity RN/Power Pistol handload c. 870 fps Hornady 200-gr +P TAP 895 fps Winchester Ranger Talon 230-gr +P 850 fps 255-gr Penn RNFP/Unique handload 920 fps (Wow. And, ow.) 200-gr TVB LSWC/Green Dot +P handload 985 fps

No apology needed Erich. Thanks for the info! Pretty impressive velocities. I just got a 3.5" .357 mag barrel that I need to chronograph some loads through.

Altitude unquestionably helps - that 255-grain/Unique handload was not quite[/u] up to St. Elmer country, but it sure doesn't make me think I need to go further!

I'd almost gotten over my wanting a Bond Arms Derringer then I see this thread. I'm thinking it'd be a great gun carrying in your hip pocket in snake country?

I got my Bond Arms derringer to use in cowboy action shooting. Mine is chambered in .45 Colt/.410 and has the 3-1/2" barrels. I have carried it on occasion when out in snake country riding my ATV loaded with the .410 rounds....

I've considered getting a 10mm barrel for one of mine and wished they'd make it in 4.25" to see what it could do. I found this article today and I guess not only are they making a 4.25" 10mm barrel but this shows velocity from a few factory loads. www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2015/8/11/bond-arms-building-the-worlds-smallest-10-mm-pistol/Now I have to decide whether to get the 4.25" 10mm barrel, the 3" .327 federal barrel, or the 4.25" .45 Colt only barrel and see how my hand would hold up to a "+p" load.
