I finally got around to getting my grips from Scott Kolar, and taking some pics. FYI, he told me that he's creating a website in the near future. This is my OM .45LC that was restored by Clements after many years of carrying when hunting; the grips are Claro Walnut These are Buckeye Burl on my Horvath .32-20 built on a .30 Carbine frame (this baby is heavy). This is the Clements .44Spl conversion from .357OM with Amber Burl And finally, an old friend that has been with me for over 35 yrs or so, that I just had to throw in even tho she isn't dressed in Kolar. Hope you all like them.....John N.

They look good. Do you have to send in the grip frame to have them fitted?

Excellent guns and beautiful grips! Here's one of mine with SK grips: Burl redwood on a convertible .45 that Mr. Bowen 'touched up' for me -- Brian

Those all look great and I'm glad to hear Scott may be creating a new website. I have a Seville that needs some of his work. -Lee www.singleactions.com

twbryan: Yes you have to send the grip fram to most any of the gripmakers to get them fit professionally.... the Amber Burl are more correctly Amber Maple Burl.......... J.N.

Those all look beautiful, it's hard to pick a favorite...although, I'm leaning toward that first one.

I have a set myself and once Mr. Clements calls me (hopefully this year)I will need another set. Scott is also a handgunner and is a pleasure to talk to. We are pretty lucky here in western Pa to have one of the best gripmakers and one of the best leatherworkers (Mike Barranti) within miles of each other...must be the Allegheny river water.
