If the chamber cleanup doesn't get it done, VQ makes an extractor, which I consider to be superior to the OEM part. I put it in all my Mark Series .22's. Not everyone will agree, that they are necessary, but since the change my guns ALWAYS extract and eject properly.

So my MK-II was fedexed to Ruger in Prescott on the 30th and I received it back today. Here is a copy of the letter tha came back with it. I won't get a chance to shoot it until Saturday but I figure it will be fine since they ran forty rounds through it with no issues. So all I am out is $30 bucks for shipping on a 2nd hand pistol that's 13 years old and had who knows how many rounds through it. Good service as far as I'm concerned.

I've always had good service from Ruger personally. In fact, I just got a tracking number saying that my son's 20 Red Label that had a cracked stock on it after 15 rounds was on its way back home. Was gone a total of 1.5 weeks. Sounds like they replaced the buttstock, the forend and the locking bolt in it for me. Can't beat that! Glad your MK2 is back home!!!

It's GREAT to hear about Ruger's excellent customer service. That is quick. I had to send 2 new guns back to a manufacturer because they would not fire and they were gone over 2 months.

I just got a stainless Blackhawk .357 Back i sent i. for repair. The cases were sticking in the chambers. Happened with any magnum ammo I tried. I bought the gun used so I have no idea it's prior history. I sent it in to Ruger and it was gone a little over a month. Came back with a new cylinder, they reset the barrel gap, and the trigger pull seems better than before. All for no charge. It locks up very right. Better than any other Ruger I own and shoots tiny little groups now. Awesome customer service. Plus they added a new set of grips. I sent it in without the grips.

100 plus rounds down the pipe this past weekend with narry a jam. A+ to to Ruger. I think I am going to keep my eyes open for a nice little fixed power scope to top it off.

Got the red label back this week. Looks GREAT! Couldn't be happier with their service or work that they performed. It's awesome to have a company that stands behind their product like they do.
