Ronnie Wells.... one of these photos shows the Blackhawk frame as a jig for visualizing hammer/trigger engagement. Same as you have done.
For those who haven’t tried it, hold hammer against trigger with thumb. Squeeze trigger to read & feel engagement. I like to do this before any stone work.
